Book an appointment
You may see any doctor at the practice regardless of which one you are registered with. All surgeries are by appointment only. Appointments may be made by telephoning 020 8430 7020 or in person during surgery hours.
If you believe your condition requires urgent medical attention please inform the reception.
If you cannot keep an appointment, please inform us as soon as possible as this will assist us in managing our appointments appropriately.
We make every effort to keep to appointment times, but difficult clinical situations may cause some delays. When there is likely to be long delays we will inform patients in the waiting area and offer alternative appointments if required. Please report to reception when you arrive for your appointment.
We also have an online appointment booking facility offering you the ability to book your GP appointments on the internet. Order a repeat prescription
Prescriptions can be requested by fax, in writing, in person at the surgery or by emailing your usual practice at either
We are unable to take orders or issue prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or out of normal surgery hours.
Repeat prescriptions can be supplied by returning the repeat prescription request form attached to your prescription. Tick the items required and place your form in the prescription box at reception. Your medication review date will also be displayed on this form. Please allow two working days (48 hours) before collection and make allowances for weekends and public holidays.
We are unable to take repeat prescription requests over the phone.

Register with this practice
Please try to bring your medical card with you when registering.
All new patients will have the opportunity to fill in a health questionnaire, giving details of medical history and lifestyle, and will be offered an appointment for a new patient medical check with the health care assistant or practice nurse.
It is essential that you attend this appointment as it provides the practice with important information on your current health needs. We normally register new patients between 12.30 - 14.00, Tuesday to Friday, If you are unable to attend between these times then be prepared to have a longer wait until someone is available to process your registration.
If you are registering a child under the age of 5 years please bring along your child's red book at the time of registration so that we can update their childhood Immunisation record.

Your child will be at risk from infectious disease. You would only be able to prevent your child catching these diseases by ensuring that he/she doesn't come into contact with the viruses or bacteria. However, this is impossible as many diseases are infectious before symptoms appear.Having your child immunised will help reduce or prevent the risk of catching one of the infectious diseases. In order to keep our records up to date please remember to inform the practice team of any immunisations your child has had outside of our practice.

We have a team of specially trained nurses to offer expert advice and support in a structured programme in order to give our smokers the best possible chance of successfully stopping smoking and staying stopped. First consultation is for 30 minutes and the follow-up appointments will be 15 minutes. There is Saturday “Stop Smoking” clinic at Churchill site between 9am and 11.30am for all Chingford residents.
