Chingford’s Churchill Medical Centre has for the second year in a row scored consistently above the borough average for patient experience of the Practice.

Local patients responded to the annual GP National Patient Survey once again with 97% of patients satisfied with the care they received at the Practice; 79% thought GPs explained their treatment and test results satisfactorily and 74% were able to see their preferred doctor.

And it was not just the doctors who scored high marks in the survey.  Ninety six per cent of patients praised the cleanliness of the surgery; 85 per cent said they could get through on the telephone with ease; 90% said they could book an appointment within two days; 86% of patients were satisfied with the Practice opening hours and 94% of patients thought our reception staff very helpful.

On average The Churchill scored seven per cent above the borough average, but in getting through on the phone we were 19% better and in overall satisfaction patients put us 14% ahead of the rest of the borough.
