We are working with working with Macmillan GPs, CCG cancer leads, dentists and CRUK facilitators to develop mateirals that support primary and secondary care across London (including the locum workforce) to improve cancer diagnosis and care.
A free e-learning course to enhance clinicians’ understanding of the updated pan-London suspected cancer referral criteria is currently in development.
Guides for clinicians
Educational support materials have been developed to make it easier to use of the new referral forms. They are accessible via hyperlinks embedded within each pan-London tumour-specific suspected cancer referral form and on CCG intranets. These support guides are designed to assist primary care physicians, dentists and administration staff.
London-wide guides are also available to download:
Tumour-specific clinical guides
We have created tumour-specific guides to support referrals for these particular patients.
Access the pan-London tumor-specific clinical guides (brain and CNS; breast; children; gynaecological; haematology; head and neck; lid, orbital and conjunctival; lower GI; lung and pleural; sarcoma; skin; upper GI; urology)
